Kindle ebooks with embedded Tibetan font -- CURRENTLY BROKEN
For a short while, arbitrary fonts could be installed on Kindle Paperwhite (first gen) devices. This way, Tibetan script was available both within Kindle's UI (e.g. for listing Tibetan titles) and for ebook display. At that time, kindles did not handle Tibetan syllables at line-ends correctly.
Amazon did remove this feature, but for recent Kindle releases there's a new way: arbitrary fonts can be embedded into an ebook. The newer software also handles Tibetan line-breaking correctly. The disadvantages are: No Tibetan display in overviews (Lists of books), and for every Tibetan ebook, a Tibetan font must be embedded.
