Tibetan Unicode enabling Mac OS-X

Mac OS-X introduced Unicode Tibetan support with OS-X version 10.5.

To install a Tibetan keyboard, check the Mac OS-X section of Tibetan Input Method.

Mac OS-X already contains Tibetan two Unicode fonts.

Font incompatibilites with Windows and Linux

Unfortunately OS-X currently still uses a different way to render scripts so that many existing Tibetan Unicode fonts do not render correctly on Mac OS-X. OS-X 10.5 supports Wylie and other Tibetan input methods.

A description of how to Mac Tibetan fonts works on Mac and Windows can be found here: Platform Independent Tibetan Unicode Font.
